Malignant tumors of endocrine glands including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, or other endocrine organs. Can cause hormonal imbalances, local mass effects, and metastatic disease. Symptoms vary by location but may include hormone excess or deficiency, pain, swelling, and systemic effects of cancer. Requires surgical, radiation, and/or chemotherapy treatment.
During active treatment (surgery, radiation, chemotherapy) and for 6 months after treatment cessation. Then re-evaluate based on residuals and recurrence.
